Every time I think about the food at our wedding my mouth waters, because it was seriously that good. I'll go back to when we initially met. It was unlike any other catering experience I had. She asked what me and my husband specifically like to eat and she catered the menu options to literally everything we discussed. She listened to every detail and made sure to incorporate that into our specific menu. Guests still talk about how great the food was at our wedding and how unique it was. She also helped us pick out linens and tableware, and provided us with all pricing options which made that job so much easier than doing it on my own. - Elizabeth D

We loved everything about The Social Affair! They source locally when they can, they make everything look beautiful, and most importantly it tasted AMAZING! All of our guests talked about how different it was from the normal boring wedding food and that is exactly what we wanted. The staff interacted with the guest and helped them pick out different topping for the stations. Aside from making some DELICIOUS food, Kelly has the most amazing vision... she can seriously make any dream come to life. She took my breath away when I saw every tiny detail that she thought of. In fact, in every picture I notice more and more things that she included. I had a dream and a vision, and Kelly took that and made it even more incredible that I could have imagined. My guests continue to stop and tell me how perfect it was! Not only is Kelly phenomenal at her job, but she's also the most genuine and pleasant person to work with. She kept us calm and optimistic despite a minor crisis that we thought might affect the wedding. Kelly is extremely knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to make sure your event is everything you dreamed of and more. Our May wedding day turned out to be 20 degrees cooler than expected. The day before our wedding I called Kelly in panic since our reception was outdoors under a tent. Within minutes, Kelly secured heaters to be delivered the next morning. Our food was beyond fabulous – from the passed hors d'oeuvres, to the dinner stations, to the desserts. The food and bar presentations were beautiful – they looked like something from a magazine. Kelly used the design on our wedding invitations to make the labels for the food stations – they were elegant. Six months later, our guests are still raving about the food at our wedding. The Social Affair is more than just a catering company, they take care of your every need. This is not just a job for Kelly, it’s her passion. The Social Affair team absolutely went above and beyond for us. We threw some out-there menu ideas at Kelly and she met them with nothing but enthusiasm. We had high expectations for our meal and she exceeded them by a mile in every way. The presentation was flawless and the staff was so courteous and attentive. Kelly's staff could barely make it into the guest area before all the hourdourves' were gone! Even my bride (Wife now) took my chicken and waffle bite :D. She stated, "It was soo good that it was ok to be a little selfish" haha. And the entrees were D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S! My best man had a plate of fried green tomatoes and wanted to eat just that! Kelly has been such a delight to work with. She has been open and worked with us every step of the way. When we talked with Kelly we were a little all over the place, but she pulled everything together and elevated everything in such a way that it was more than we could imagine, and it was done with such elegance.
